Janko Blaho (born 15th Sept. 1901 in Skalica - died 24th April 1981 in Bratislava) was the first professional opera singer. He started as the debutante in the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava on 23rt March 1924. He took part from theatre audience in his last role on the stage at the State Theatre in Košice on 28th April 1965.
