Biennial of illustrations Bratislava - the international competitive exhibition of illustrations for books for children and young adults - has in the year 1997 the 30-years jubileum. It is a time of ripennes and bilancy. The illustrated book is for children mostly the first contact with creative art and therefore is very important. It is underlanding and it's near to every child in the world, there is no difference between nations, religions or colours of skin. Is always the recourse of fantazy, beauty and imagination. On BIB has been introducet more then 4.000 creative arters - illustrators from 70 states from every continent. Prices of BIB: Grand Prix, Golden Apples, Plakets and honourable acknowledgement. In issuing we are reproducing the works of won authors from BIB 1995.
