Svetozár Hurban Vajanský (January 16,1847, Hlboké, district Senica nad Myjavou - August 17,1916, Martin) -a Slovak politician, writer, literary critic, lawyer. As part of the Slovak national party in 70-ies created an action group of young cultur - organizational and educational workers in Martin. From 1878 to 1898 he was an editor, from 1898 to 1899 he was an editor and from 1906 a principal editor of "Národné noviny" (National Journal). Jointly with J. M.
