Albín Brunovský (1935 Zohor - 1997 Bratislava) was national artist, Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava where he ran the department of book design from 1967 to 1990. He studied under Professor Vincent Hložník at the Academy of Fine Arts (1956 - 1961) and from the beginning of his artistic work he captivated many people with his drawing mastery and extraordinary rich imagination, shown in his lithography and etchings.
